Apple now fixing iPhone 6 Plus "touch disease" issue for $149*

Apple is now fixing iPhone 6 Plus touch disease issue which was a huge design flaw by Apple. The issue was a chip (IC chip) which controls the screens touch sensor would fail and the touch sensor on the display would either work intermittently or stop working completely.

There are some guidelines to apples repair program though. Your screen cannot be damaged and of course there cannot be major damage to the phone in general.

iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus Touch Screen Issues. The problem is a design flaw, the touch IC chip fails on all 6 & 6 Plus models

The design flaw has to do with apples touch sensor chip built onto the main board. The chip fails and either causes the screen to flicker gray lines across the top and stop the touch function, or the touch would only work intermittently. Unfortunately doing a simple screen replacement will not fix this issue.
I bring this discussion up to let my customers know and warn them that with or without a screen repair, this issue can happen to anyone with the iPhone 6 or 6 plus models and that the screen repair was not the direct source for this problem should this problem arise.
All our customers must know that our warranty does not cover this problem after our screen repairs. This is a very common problem that apple refuses to admit to and is a problem that we cannot fix ourselves.
